Success in Cordova

Written by Magpie at 07:25 15/7-2015

Gaius Barcauan has taken his second career win just recently at the Klasika Cordova, a hilly classic in AndalucĂa. After three and a half seasons with the team Barcauan has developed as a strong leader, captaining in nearly every race since Danny Van Putten left the team. He has been extremely consistent in the team, getting two wins, 7 podiums, 10 other top tens, 8 top twenties and doing a total of 35 races. Now at age twenty seven he has decided to refocus, he will continue to lead the team, but his focus now is in imparting his knowledge and experience to the younger riders and future leaders of the team. In the future, the team will focus on developing 22 year old Romanian Antonie Danilescu as a team captain and twenty three year old Radics Zoltan as his right hand man. Barcauan and retired dutch rider Heersprink will both be instrumental in supporting the future of the team outside of their own personal success.
